You spent the whole night reading or even watching movies on Netflix, sometimes you manage to get only 3 to 5 hours sleep per day. Which brought us to this question is five hours sleep enough for students?

I don’t have time to sleep, I have to finish this assignment, I need to read this night, have become some familiar terms used by students. Then I ask , do you know how crucial sleep is to you as a student. I bet, some of you don’t know , which is why I need to tell you that the regular 5 hours sleep is not enough.

Sleep is very important to our health and brain performance but it’s the lowest in our daily priorities. Some students even prefer to watch a whole series of Netflix over sleeping which can be very detrimental to your health.

According to the sleep health foundation young students between the age of 18 to 25, should have at least 7 to 9 hours of good sleep. This will greatly help their performance in school the next day.

Many people never for once thought about the benefits of having a good night sleep, ad we often trade our sleep with either TV, binge, party or even social media. This can be very detrimental to our health.
